So I got a new freelance assignment to do a piece for a review of the BBC sci-fi show, Torchwood. I hadn't really seen but a minute of it here and there between channels so I watched a bunch of episodes. While I will say that it's pretty corny, it really grew on me. I'm a sucker for a nerd show with lots of cliffhangers.

Oh god, Torchwood. I really love that show (to my embarrassment, sometimes). All of this is awesome, but I think my favorite part has to be that cyberwoman leg!

Great style you have, stylized but detailed... plus the colours are earthy and "Klimt-ish" (I invented a new word! XD)

1) Sure, I might be doing some more Torchwood drawings! Who knows, as long as I'm at it I may as well do some Dr. Who ones as well. I'm currently kind of swamped working on two different short stories for two different Image comics anthologies. I DO take commissions on occasion though. And Ciao, Laura! Your English couldn't possibly be more horrible than my Italian :)

how did I this piece? I just got into torchwood too and while it's definitely camptastic I can't wait for the third season to come out...I'm going to miss Owen and tosh though :'( Love love love the painting.
